LOSFA

The Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (LOSFA) is a Program of the Louisiana Board of Regents, administering the state's scholarship and grant programs, and the state's Internal Revenue Code Section 529 college savings program. By creating a LOSFA Student Hub account you can manage your student’s TOPS award amounts and financial assistance.

TWO things must be done before registering for a LOSFA Student Hub account:

  1. Parents must sign a LOSFA consent form and turn in to their child’s counselor. If a consent is not on file and coded in the system by the counselor, LOSFA will not allow registration. *BE SURE to fill out the “top portion” that says “I consent”. (print consent below)
  2. LOSFA will not allow you to setup an account until atleast a few weeks after you have completed the FAFSA or TOPS online application.

*You will need your student’s LASECID to create an account. This is the 10 digit “State ID” found on Student Progress Center.
